I spend hours toiling at work, then I finish work and switch to my hobby project, on the same desk/peripherals (KVM switch), same IDE and same tech stack, and work on it full of energy and finding it fun.

I have no clue why this works for me.

  • I browse All and was generally happy discovering new cool communities this way, and keeping with the news in the fediverse (like with this post!). They don't always align with my views and I think it's great to see outside of my bubble and not get stuck in an echo chamber.

Vegan home cooks?! First time I'm learning of your existence, I'm not really interested in food in general, but sounds cool and will check it out, maybe get some dinner inspiration.

Clearly an unpopular opinion, but I think the Cybertruck looks cool. It's a bad car which you shouldn't buy for many reasons, but in terms of looks, I like it. It's unique, definitely stands out on the parking lot, and the retrofuturistic aesthetic is my vibe.

  • No, it doesn't say you can treat someone badly if they treat you badly. It doesn't say anything about how others treat you having any effect on how you treat them.

It says you should treat everyone the way you'd like them to treat you, regardless if they actually do or not.
