Actually come to think of it, my view of 196 from its very earliest days was of aggressively lib, imperialist, status-quo upholding shitheads. Just full of chasers and younger femboy types who were either absolute pick-mes or just young'ins trying to fit in. I remember r/196 being pro-V*ush and getting really upset any time I called him a pedo and pointed out all the pedo shit he says, so this tracks. Not sure if this has changed with their migration to blahaj but I doubt it.
And using it as an excuse to denounce communism even though Cuba has better literacy rates than the US, lower homelessness, more doctors per capita, and lower infant mortality rate, all despite the embargo.

the whole instance isn't 196. blahaj is primarily a trans instance.
