Every single anti-communist "leftist" I've met admit that they primarily get their politics from YouTube video essays, BreadTube, Reddit comments with lots of upvotes, CNN headlines, Twitter, and skimming Reuters articles written by a bachelor's in journalism
They've never actually looked into any sort of data or statistics, never researched the sources cited in the news, no cross reference checking, never read anything written outside of the West or even the Anglosphere, and never read anything political by an actual scientist or historian
