    There is no grassroots opposition to 15 minute cities. All outrage is being whipped up by the fossil fuel companies terrified of people not having to drive everywhere.

    Of course there are plenty of dim-bulb car chuds who buy into the outrage because they can’t imagine not riding their penis extension for every journey

      I just found out my aunt, who I genuinely thought was smarter than this, believes 15 minutes cities already exist and they're already preventing people from leaving their zones. I couldn't get any specific details from her. I'm pretty sure she arrived at this stuff through alternative medicine wellness shit.

        Why do you think changing cities to be more convenient and walkable would lead to a situation where travel is restricted or monitored? Why are these two ideas tied together in your head?

        I mean the fact that it's entirely made up and doesn't make any sense might give you a hint.

        But if you actually support freedom of movement, ICE is still kidnapping people and holding them in detention facilities for months without trial. Don't have to make that one up.
