My theory is that climate change will eventually make Australia unlivable and Australians will try to flee en masse to New Zealand.
I hope New Zealand treats these Australians with the same compassion and dignity as the Australians treated "the boat people".
The south east coast and tassie will likely stay vaguely liveable. That said Tasmania is essentially the West Island of NZ culturally.
