MMA fanboy chuds stanning for that chud might endanger the children.

EDIT 2: After learning otherwise, I will take the L on this one and stop associating pro wrestling and MMA fandoms so much.

EDIT: Oops, seems like a pro wrestling chud, not a MMA chud, which has a super distinct fandom difference with no overlap.

Honestly Ulysses coming from someone you dont have an existing grudge with hopefully itll go over easier, most hardcore MMA fans have a disdain for pro wrestling because they're overly proud their sport is "Real".

Also, it should be noted that they've done polls on this and Pro Wrestling fans are actually one of the most left leaning sports fandoms. While MMA leans right.

That is news to me. I believe you now, I really do.

I didn't know that, and that pleasantly surprises me. I will take the L on this one and stop associating the two groups so much.

Here's the poll. Turns out I was wrong about UFC fans being that much more right leaning then wrestling fans. It actually lands on the left side of the poll's spectrum too. More rightward than WWE/wrestling but only by a bit. I also forgot the poll frames it as "democrat and republican" lol, which is annoying, but judging by /r/SquaredCircle's views on social issues im fairly confident there are a lot of wrestling fans who are at worst radlibs.

ETA: Wait no, i misread the graph, ufc has almost no lean whatsoever.

My head's spinning by now. I'll just not make the association in the future and save myself a toxic fan getting weird on me again that way.

This isn't the first time I've seen this poll, but every time I do I want to dismiss the results because there's no way any more than a single digit number described themselves as a fan of Grand-Am.

I honestly don't know too many people who fuck with both pro wrestling and mma. Seems like the fandoms are stay somewhat separated. I am well aware of the chud fandom within MMA, but ay thats why I mostly go to local promotions and pirate all the PPVs lol.

And while i wouldnt say im like "proud" of it being real over wrestling, i would like to keep them separate. Hell now that WWE and UFC has merged somewhat under a parent company, im straight up moving to watch ONE FC instead from Singapore and Thailand. Hell, even the wrestling fans i know aren't happy with the merger and think they shouldnt be that close.

Yeah I know people that like both but even they like them for completely different reasons and dont see them as associated. Having UFC and WWE as one company sucks lol but it wasnt the worst option on the table (the Saudis were in play) though I'm mad that Vince is still in any level of power, even if no longer absolute power.

Dana White and Vince McMahan in the same company is waaaaaaaaay way way overboard on the amount of slime even for a corporation like endeavor.

Last i heard Vince McMahan is running TKO, the parent to both UFC and WWE so as far as i know he has even more control and possibly could be one of Dana White's bosses. Which is....horrific.

Honestly looks like some shit from one of those signs i occasionally see posted in the country. Just a yard sale sign with BACKYARD WRESTLING: THIS WAY written on it lol.

Yeah, thats what Billy Corgan's NWA has devolved into at this point, it started as a really promising promotion :(

God, this tub of grease is Corgan's fault? Say what you will about Tony Khan; but ever since he found his spine and got rid of the straightedge menace, I don't believe he'd fuck around and hire someone like this. If there's three people in the world I'm praying Freddie Prinze Jr. isn't taking advice from, it's Eric Bischoff, Jim Cornette, and Vince Russo-- now I gotta add a fourth name to the list.

Well he originally made it to the big stage as part of the WWE as "The Funkasaurs" Brodus Clay. And I think he was on Fox before Corgan hired him? But yeah. Corgan made a really baffling decision by deciding to back this guy as his champion.

Its from Billy Corgan's NWA, which started out really promising but then he decided Tyrus was the horse to back.

So chuds that listen to that aging chud's message about hurting children aren't a danger if the aged chud has an unimpressive performance? jesse-wtf

EDIT: Wherever he's from, I never heard of that chud before now and I never want to hear about him again.
