    There's a thing in cyberpunk 2077....

    (cw suicide)

Most everyone has implants or some form of modification. There's a skilltree where you can hack their implants and

    • Release the toxic metals in their implants

    • "over heat" their implants causing burns

    • short circuit them causing severe damage

    • forcing others to take out their gernade and pull the pin clasping onto it as they panic knowing what is happening against their will.

    • forcing them to pull out their own gun or knife and comitting suicide as they panic knowing what's happening is against their will.

What a crazy commentary on the pitfalls of having neural implants.

if there were neural implants teenagers would hack them and force you to watch porn or gore as a prank. It would be terrible

Man, the cyberpsycho missions were fucking hilariously broken before they patched it so most of the hacks no longer worked on them. You could essentially one shot literally anyone with the shutdown command one (knocks the target unconscious instantly). So you'd be getting rushed by some screaming homicidal maniac for what should be a mini boss fight of sorts and be able to just end it with BOOP thud

Once I got the end game hacks combat became a real joke even when I wasn't popping people's heads off with a katana. Like Adam Smasher was effected by the shutdown hack and made it real anticlimactic when I just stood there attacking while he was in seizure mode.

          seizure mode

I personally question giving neural implants a seizure mode, but that's what separates me from Innovators.
