However trans rights are a sticking point for me and considering the fact that Democrats in my state have passed sanctuary state legislation and other protections while red states go the opposite way, I see a material difference on that issue that matters to me.

The posts about "why bother vote evangelizing to communists" that are made elsewhere apply the other way. Stop trying to CONVICNE me not to care. Its materially pointless.
