From what I understand, the energy companies take the path of least resistance, which means that they also plow through indigenous lands "over there", when they feel there's a greater chance of getting away with it "over there" compared to local indigenous lands.

I myself wasn't aware of Pilmaiken until I got a message about it from a friend from Occupied Palestine, who themself heard it from an indigenous Tumblr blog based in the United Occupation Zones of America!
