This has been said before, but the term Stockholm Syndrome comes from a psychologist not understanding why the hostages correctly identified the behavior of the police as needlessly escalating the danger of the hostage situation.

Motherfucker, that's what armies are for! It's so cool how this is such a moral and just fight on the part of the Israelis, but boots on the ground is a non starter.
To be clear, I obviously don't want that, I just find it interesting that any war the US is involved in, is one where they are now using other nations people to be sent to the meat grinder. There has never been honor in war, but they can't even pretend from their planes as they drop more bombs on an open air concentration camp than the US did in iraq
