For this Friday Movie Night, boo! It’s a triple feature, It’s all horror, and we’re starting early, at 7PM EST, to make room for all of it. First up is The Grudge (2004), the American remake of the Japanese spooker about a ghost girl who literally scares her victims to death. It’s a camp classic. After that is The Wailing (2016), one of the best-regarded Korean horror films of all time, concerning a detective who investigates a mysterious plague in a small town that leads to a series of grisly deaths. This is, to date, the best-known and best-reviewed film of director Na Hong-jin, who specializes in disturbing thrillers. Third is the magnum opus of auteur Ken Russell, The Devils (1971), one of the most-acclaimed horror films of the 1970s; it tells the story of a moral panic in a 17th-century town when some Catholic nuns find themselves accused of witchcraft. Guess how well this goes.

We’ll start at 7PM EST on Hextube, right here: https://live.hexbear.net/c/movies
