ABC interviewed a Uyghur souvenir seller who spent 6 months in reeducation: He denied any mistreatment at the facility, claiming he ate well, played chess and read books and was even allowed to go home on weekends. I can't think of any kind of prison that lets inmates go home for the weekend. link
