Are you serious? From what I can tell, she met Donald Trump because "a deadly storm pummeled the area" in 2019. I'm not trying to deny that she was a prominent member of her very conservative community, but she did not "choose" to be born there as a trans woman. She chose to live her life and survive while participating in the community she was born into. I'm sorry if I don't think that's enough to call her an SS officer who fucking deserved to die.

Actually, I'm not sorry. Go fuck yourself.

It seems like a more accurate comparison would be SS officer whom we haven't proven personally did crimes, which is still pretty bad.

But putting completely aside whether her actions or associations were evil enough to warrant whatever, I agree with you this situation is still awful, because it's just chuds indirectly killing someone for being trans. They sure didn't target her for hypocrisy or whatever bad republican shit she supported. They just see it as a trans person they got to drive to suicide, nothing more.

It just feels weird to insist on painting some random dead trans woman as an SS officer. Look, I'm not going to sit here and pretend like it's impossible that she had terrible political opinions. But it's not impossible that she didn't, she was just the mayor of a city with a population of 6,500. I think at that level it's still possible to just be a normal person, but idk.

Yeah, I agree. I'm sure in the 30's people in a podunk German mountain village were like oh, we need a sheriff to go keep the 3 drunks from fighting over their second cousin, ok looks like that's called the "Gestapo" now, I guess Friedrich is our town Gestapo officer, and there wouldnt really be much to hold against them

The whole point of that article is that there's no evidence she actually did contribute to those policies. You're literally just doing the team sports we mock libs for, I highly doubt you'd be celebrating a trans woman's outing and suicide if she was blue.

I'm sure she had bad politics, she probably wasn't a leftist by any stretch, but most of the awful, horrid shit this monstrous system does is to people who are not perfect victims. She died because chuds killed her, so quit cheering with the chuds.

You're out here acting like someone from a small town in Alabama being a Republican is some unforgivable sin, and you're deriving some twisted sense of satisfaction from her death. It's disturbing as fuck, touch grass.

          Word

I'd bet she was an asshole and helped do fucked up stuff but it doesn't make me want her to die, especially not in this context

Nazis get the wall, Republicans only get the gulag (which was pretty OK when it wasn't full of Nazis)

As another user helpfully pointed out, there doesn't seem to be any basis to this. https://www.friendlyatheist.com/p/does-this-drag-loving-trans-pretending

It's weird to respond to a story of a trans person being harassed to death by a transphobic newspaper by saying "I'd bet she was an asshole".

I'm only basing that on the part where she's a Republican politician, and that alone. I mean we don't have a lot of information here but it's obviously pretty likely she materially advanced right wing causes in the right wing party. That's all. And I'm saying it doesn't make this story a good thing at all. It's also good to hear she didn't push queerphobic stuff as mayor or as pastor

Because they weren’t just a Republican but a Republican politician. That’s another step worse
