You're out here acting like someone from a small town in Alabama being a Republican is some unforgivable sin, and you're deriving some twisted sense of satisfaction from her death. It's disturbing as fuck, touch grass.

      Word

I'd bet she was an asshole and helped do fucked up stuff but it doesn't make me want her to die, especially not in this context

Nazis get the wall, Republicans only get the gulag (which was pretty OK when it wasn't full of Nazis)

As another user helpfully pointed out, there doesn't seem to be any basis to this. https://www.friendlyatheist.com/p/does-this-drag-loving-trans-pretending

It's weird to respond to a story of a trans person being harassed to death by a transphobic newspaper by saying "I'd bet she was an asshole".

I'm only basing that on the part where she's a Republican politician, and that alone. I mean we don't have a lot of information here but it's obviously pretty likely she materially advanced right wing causes in the right wing party. That's all. And I'm saying it doesn't make this story a good thing at all. It's also good to hear she didn't push queerphobic stuff as mayor or as pastor

Because they weren’t just a Republican but a Republican politician. That’s another step worse
