Calling that sort of behaviour genocide apologetics was enough to summon the lemmy.ml alt of one of Sh.itjust.works' mods to Hexbear to complain yesterday. The need to defend genocide is strong within the liberals of Lemmy.
Meaningless. Hamas is fighting a guerilla war against a technologically advanced and very well funded army that has occupied Palestine for decades. There is one side with the power to end this conflict, one side with the goal of total ethnic cleansing, and one side that has been committing orders of magnitude more intentional attacks on civilians with the goal of inflicting maximum suffering.
Of course it's not okay. It's why Israel should stop occupying Palestine and prevent their citizens from getting killed.
