Meaningless. Hamas is fighting a guerilla war against a technologically advanced and very well funded army that has occupied Palestine for decades. There is one side with the power to end this conflict, one side with the goal of total ethnic cleansing, and one side that has been committing orders of magnitude more intentional attacks on civilians with the goal of inflicting maximum suffering.
Of course it's not okay. It's why Israel should stop occupying Palestine and prevent their citizens from getting killed.
