Aren't aluminium bottle caps, like cans, supposed to have a clear plastic coating on them to prevent the metal from corroding and reacting with the drink? Did they forget to make the caps with that stuff on them or something?
Beer bottle caps are steel usually - looks like they contracted out a batch of beers and let them sit in bad conditions - also they used a clear bottle which means the beer develops a bunch of off-flavors bc of the light hitting it.

They did, but with .03 micron tolerances
It's usually only on the inside/bottom of the cap, the part where the drink actually touches the cap
Aluminum also doesn't rust IIRC so idk what's going on here.
