They getting old enough now that doing stuff with dad is boring and one of the handful of things they still like to do when they’re with me is cook. Desert mostly. A long time ago in a land far away I graduated from pastry school and worked in a very bougie patisserie for some years, and i still have a little bit of it left in me and sometimes I show off for my kids. Holidays are always a bit of an overload with baked stuff, and sweets.
So this weekend we are going to make Sacher torte and Im going to try a rusty hand at tempering chocolate for candies in some of my few remaining candy molds.
