That's right folks the year is drawing to a close so it's time to nominate and vote for your 2023 Hexies! These are the Hexbears you think exemplify what it means to be a real Hexbear. Here's how it works:

  1. Pick from the below categories

  2. Nominate someone for that category by tagging them

  3. If you are nominated respond to the nomination to accept it

  4. Most upbeared accepted nomination in each category wins!

What do you win? The esteem of your fellow Hexbearian comrades of course. What more could you want?

The categories for this year's 2023 Hexie awards are:

  1. Most Influential Hexbear of 2023

  2. Most likely to be called a tankie offline

  3. Best in Community Engagement

This year we have a special bonus category to commemorate the year we federated;

  1. Best non local user

Alright comrades that's it from me, be sure and do your democratic duty and vote for your 2023 Hexie winners and congrats in advance to the winners of this highly coveted and prestigious award!

    1. Most influential Hexbear: @UlyssesT@hexbear.net

Just one of our strongest posters all around. Didn't log off until real life took his attention. He's the only poster I've seen who will respond to absolutely everyone. Giant comment threads, good sprinkling of our emojis. overall powerful aura with a lot of posting HP

But since he's not here to accept it, I gotta give the actual nomination to @WhyEssEff@hexbear.net

Every emoji is like a little morsel of candy and I can't imagine how the site culture would look like without our lovely little pictures of indie game characters and pig shit lea-happy

    1. Most likely to be called a tankie offline: @Alaskaball@hexbear.net

very pure "yes I'm a communist" vibe

    1. Best in Community Engagement: @Nakoichi@hexbear.net

Love the work he's done with the Chunka Luta Network . Overall cool comrade

    1. Best non local user

not really sure. I see some sometimes and they can be cool. Still feels like I'm getting to know all the folk from federation. But probably someone from lemmygrad
