As if the argument would formally be "Luffy beats up oppressors, but the ship crew wasn't oppressing anyone and now the pirates are being oppressors." The closest equivalent I thought of was Caesar the clown who was one degree off of military because he was contracted under a shichibukai. I can sympathize because it's not a chill situation for the crew who, even if they get out unharmed, might have been kept from providing for family or responsibilities. I hope for a peaceful resolution and, like Rashid said, freedom for Palestine.
