A close friend of mine was in the military and was open about hating the experience and the military. One of their colleagues asked if they hated it so much why didnt they leave as if they didnt sign a contract.

Or the genuine shock had and the scolding the colleague gave when they declared they didnt take the oath as seriously as they did.

Not having that skepticism or cynicism, thats brainwashed.
