the manga doesn't go into it in detail but side materials reveal that the eastern archipelago (which is japan, it's where the ninjas are and everyone there has japanese names) doesn't have any dwarves living there, so that's definitely not intentional. i mean, senshi obviously is a japanese word, but it isn't meant as such in universe. i think it's supposed to be a linguistic drift coincidence
his name is just "Senshi", as in "Warrior"? not very creative naming from the dwarves
