Thereby making claims against actual, right wing, real nazi shit antisemitism less credible. I feel like they don't care, because incidence of actual antisemitism in the West would strengthen Israel. Also actual antisemites tend to be Israel's biggest supporters.

Afaik Bibi has been working hand in hand with nazis and assorted anti-semites for years bc of convergent goals - the nazis want all the jews out of they country. Bibi wants all the jews in israel. If the nazis terrorize jews until they flee to israel everyone wins!

Likud + the kahanists is just the worst fucking government imaginable. Ben Gvir was convicted of terror offenses by israel ffs.

Afaik Bibi has been working hand in hand with nazis and assorted anti-semites for years bc of convergent goals

The main example is Hungary's president Viktor Orban, who has been campaigning with antisemitic conspiracy theories for several election cycles and openly supports and protects one of Europe's biggest neonazi gatherings, the March of Honor (where militant nazi skins commemorate how the Wehrmacht and its Hungarian Arrow Cross collaborators lost to the Red Army, common faschist L), then flew over to Israel to visit holocaust memorials with Netanyahu.

Meanwhile, my government is hunting down 13 antifa activists who allegedly beat up nazis at the March of Honor, and is discussing if it's ok to extradit a nonbinary person they've already caught to Hungary, where their gender identity is not recognized and where it's a given that they would, on top of generally terrible conditions of imprisonment especially for leftist political prisoners, be subjected to massive transphobia by the prison guards. They already have another activist from Italy on trial, and her lawyer reports regular violations of her human rights by the Hungarian authorities and it's obvious she's not getting a fair trial there because she's at odds with the ruling fascist ideology.

Full, uncritical support to all imprisoned leftists, even the innocent ones.

One of the real cool things about being trans (and left) is I got a real serious fear of any sort of brush with any country's law, a fear which is entirely warranted.

Same, even when i get my papers in order and am done with bottom surgery, i can never be 100% sure if the state decides to put me into men's prison for fun, and as it is now it's almost guaranteed they would do that.

This is why it's important for activists to be aware of how their comrades' marginalizations affect them, it's an actual tactical consideration when you plan any form of direct action, no matter how mild and nonviolent.

I moved out from Hungary 12 years ago and I never want to set my foot into that hellhole again unless I need to visit my extended family. Khrushchev and the collapse of the USSR was the worse thing that ever happened to that country. Such a miserable place to live.

There’s also the fact that white nationalists and Zionists both work from the position of exalting the ethnostate as a legitimate form of a nation. There are quite a few white nationalists who may be anti-Semitic but are more than happy to support the existence of Israel because it validates their desire for white ethnostates.

Good post. I'm sure there's enough effort posts about this, but I need to read more about how Zionism and Nazism has worked hand in hand. I need to read more theory.

Someone explained to me recently that anti-semitism benefits Israel, as they want more Jewish settlers, which means if Jewish people are comfortable in their lives elsewhere in the world they won't move to Israel, but if they are constantly under threat from actual anti-semites and nazis, they will be forced to move, and will most likely pick Israel as their destination to move to.

There is also a lot of overlap between the antisemitic position "Jews do not belong here!" and the zionist position "Jews belong in Jew-land!"

I mean they (mossad) can't get away with tossing grenades in synagogues like they did in the Middle East in the past
