These days I fantasize a lot about moving to China once I finish school. But I feel that I need to stay in the belly of the beast in order to organize and agitate, which is what I probably will do, and thus I feel selfish for wanting to leave. Idk.
I fantasize about living in China and I'm not even Chinese or have any real intention of studying mandarin (though that's kinda like, most hexbears from my pov). My family came from Bangladesh to the states so they built up a really nice nest egg here after over 20 years while I have no real fond memories or intention of even visiting Bangladesh (reactionary corrupt Awami League gov't, climate change flooding, pollution etc).
If I were you, I'd leave and not look back. Burgerland is bullshit.
