Yeah it's not that they wouldn't, I think we're just not big enough for them to notice and take action. The only thing they hate more than socialism is paying a human employee to do a task.
My memory is very fuzzy around it now, but I was checking into this issue prior to the lemmy re-merge. There was something we were doing that was either blocking Googlebot or not letting Googlebot access the javascript required to properly render pages or something.
