        From what I hear, that sort of thing is surprisingly common in people who are severely injured. Sometimes your body gets so fucked up that your brain can not grapple with what just happened.

          Yeah, I mean obviously shot in the leg is worse, but when I broke my collarbone I was sort of like...

          'Ah. Shit. That's weird. Hm. That doesn't feel right. Nope. That feels wrong. That is definitely not good. That doesn't feel right at all. I should go to hospital. Yes. Better book a taxi then. Fuck sake.'

          It was weird. Didn't really hurt til I was in the hospital waiting room. It just felt profusely wrong. I felt so mortal.
