Is it pretty much over for Trump?
Removed by modFeels pretty hopeless. He is losing in every swing state at the moment, and he seems to be running a campaign as bad as Hillary's. I really do not see how he can bounce back. Kamala is by now means a good candidate, and will be a terrible president. A "normie" repub would be winning right now, no? It really just seemed like a great opportunity for him to win and he's just fumbling the bag hard.
Am I wrong? Is there a path to victory for our boy?
I mean that would be funny, but the polls say otherwise. Trump has been running an absolutely god awful campaign.
I am not sure that mods will even see this, but it was a bit and I don't think it should have been taken down. I feel like if I was even more on the nose it would have been taken down for that reason... Am I missing something here?
No, if America enters a war with Hezbollah or Iran he will probably win. Kamala and Biden are openly pro war and Trump is presenting himself as the anti war candidate. If a war starts where America soldiers start coming back in coffins by the hundreds it's Joever for Kamala. Especially if the price of gas skyrockets as a result of Saudi refineries getting annihilated, hell even if it spikes up as a result of conflict in the region.
That's not his messaging on Israel. And frankly there's no way that American boots are put on the ground unless a Navy ship is sunk or something, and two months of American caskets (dozens of dead?) is not enough time for antiwar sentiment to develop. Americans love a patriotic war.

Something that extreme happening between now and then is probably the only thing that could shake the current paradigm up in the election. I'm not 100% sure it would mean a Trump victory but something of that magnitude could make him competitive again for sure
