Honestly this is the one thing that I hold extremely critical support to Musk for. We definitely should cut as much of the US government as possible. In fact cut all of it. Remove the entire government.

I mean of course they won't cut the bad parts out. But by cutting it apart and ruining any semblance of functionality I think it will help radicalize people and remove some of the mysticism around "running the government like a business." I think people seeing what that looks like would be very beneficial for organizing. The US government as is won't ever work for people so we may as well show the people what it really does.

Gotta find hope where we can. All of us were radicalized by some material change in our life or in the world, so maybe government collapsing is a big enough material change to radicalize others. I don't think it's the best way though at all. Just one route.

Although the movie is peak Reddit, idiocracy is ancap 1984.

Even in that setting, the ancap main antagonists had some form of government. Yes, it was an openly corporate McGovernment but why would the elites want to abolish their own protectionism AND can get a personal army financed by the yucky poors, that pay 100% of the taxes?

"Efficiency" means an the money that goes to education and business regulation is instead dumped into law enforcement and taxes on business are replaced with wage taxes and don't of that goes back to "maintaining" their employer.
