Pharmacies can bill medical insurance for vaccines, so if they were only trying their pharmacy coverage, try their medical.
A lot of miscommunication happens in medical settings, sometimes the technicians are inexperienced (high turnover) and they enter things wrong or bill the insurance wrong.
If none of that works they’ll wanna call their insurance and ask what is covered and where, if at all.
Yeah I just hate hearing these stories and really want to help people get vaccinated. If I had been helping your friend I would’ve told them all this lol
