    Really goes to show how easy it is to game Reddit by putting the right moderators in. /r/news more or less had mostly the same type of real people; it’s a default sub so naturally there shouldn’t be such a huge gulf between there ideological makeup and while /r/news is still filled with hasbara people you can at least see SOME pushback that receives a decent amount of upvotes from time to time.

    It’s because the moderation team was not infiltrated to the same degree! That’s all there is to it! Looking up worldnews posts regarding Israel from around 2012/2013 reveals a strikingly different discourse that is not seen today. It’s all fake folks!
