Classic worldnews bots/hasbaras/Eglin airbase keyboard grunts going at it again with more garbage takes.

r/worldnews is almost exclusively bots, paid posters (US or Israeli troll farms), or right wing techbro suburbanites.

Really goes to show how easy it is to game Reddit by putting the right moderators in. /r/news more or less had mostly the same type of real people; it’s a default sub so naturally there shouldn’t be such a huge gulf between there ideological makeup and while /r/news is still filled with hasbara people you can at least see SOME pushback that receives a decent amount of upvotes from time to time.

It’s because the moderation team was not infiltrated to the same degree! That’s all there is to it! Looking up worldnews posts regarding Israel from around 2012/2013 reveals a strikingly different discourse that is not seen today. It’s all fake folks!

"supplying the Palestinians with healthcare" is when you bomb hospitals for an entire year

Got it, it's okay to kill someone's family and steal their house so long as the murderer allows them to live in the shed afterwards and buys them 1 burger per week.

Same vibe as ppl who claim "prisoners are getting 3 square meals a day, a roof over their head, and a bed to sleep in" so obviously they have nothing to complain about ever even if they're innocent, and especially if they're "guilty"

The idea of "free electricity" always bothered me because once you build the infrastructure the electricity just kinda flows through it at all times and sometimes shutting it off costs more than just letting it flow. It's not water flowing through a pipe. Those analogs get used because it's close enough to what's going on that it makes sense when explaining things. So it's really hard to act like it's some kinda largesse. You're like "oh we aren't taking away a thing" and acting like that's giving it away. There's a difference here.

My ex of 9 years said she wanted to stay single for a long time and “find herself.” Saw her on Hinge 3 weeks after the breakup even though I tried to block her from appearing on the app.

Jesus, those upvote ratios. To live in the West is to be surrounded by absolute ghouls.
