What is the point of this little breast pocket near my left shoulder?

I have like 10 t-shirts with a tiny breast pocket right over my left nipple, and what am I supposed to put in there? I've never put fucking anything in this pocket, but it's always there with a tiny tag from whatever manufacturer made the shirt.

It's because we have resorted to using worse fabric, so the shirt doesn't retain tension as well

Prolly, clothes have gotten so bad. My little brother gave me his punk jacket for my birthday when I was like 19 and I had that for over 10 years. I bought the same model from the same company and it was more threadbear and I'd patched it more times in 3 years. I'm still using the old one because it's in better condition and a replacement can't be had like 16 years in now.

Ever since puberty there is exactly one shoe company that makes something kinda close to my actual shoesize because I have "medical abnormality" seriously wide feet, like a men's 20 4e is the smallest shoe with my width or some crap (men's 9.5 length, wide, wide, wide) so I can saywith 100% certainty because they're the only shoes I've bough since 2003 that by 2013 their shoes went from lasting three years to six months. I hate it.

Yeah I thrift shop a lot and oftentimes the old clothes I find last much longer than anything I've bought new.
It is also the factual truth. They use less cloth to make shit now. They spin the threads thinner and thinner. That workwear guy has a series of articles about it.

He's got some classist vibes, but is otherwise pretty decent and I like the writing style.

Edit: I went to read some of his articles and I take the classism thing back. He's actually pretty cool. Here's a video going thru it and also dunks on Jordan Petersons suits
I don't agree with him about everything, but hey that's nuance for ya
