put all of your election posting here so it doesn't bother anyone else!

from @CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

It's not over yet but it appears that Harris' campaign has shit the bed and Trump is currently sweeping the swing states (though he might not actually get all of them because some big Democrat strongholds might come in at the last second to save the day in a few of them). Looks like there's been a big rightward shift across the whole country, in fact, and Trump's numbers have notably improved since 2020. If Harris is going to win now, it'll be razor thin.

I don't think hundreds of thousands of people refusing to vote for a genocide is a right wing shift

Empty Suit Biden won in 2020, Genocide Joe and Holocaust Harris lost in 2024

The floor is falling out from under the libs

In the north across the border to Klanada the socdem party is promising to end all weapons shipments to Israel and got a big boost (i.e promising the voter to no longer make themselves complicit in the Holocaust - a good sell!) seems pretty easy to activate people left wing vote to me lmao

And really clear how to turn the left vote off

Trump is overperforming by a couple percentage points almost everywhere that matters.

Trump seems to be handedly winning all swing states. Possibly even winning the popular vote. North Carolina was called for Trump
