I'm genuinely wondering a bit if pollsters are so terrified of losing their legitimacy any further that they're decided to just weigh the polls to roughly 50/50. Like they do have to do some math to try to guess what demographics are less likely to answer polls or whatever but after 2016 and 2020 the process probably looks insane.

Thew only good thing that happens during elections is once in a while you see a former BlueMAGA no matter who account standing on top of a T-34 waving the red banner and it's like "Wow, they can learn."
Also worth mentioning how funny/bonkers it is that we don't know who wins on election night. Because the other team brings in rules lawyers to make the bean counters double count and triple count the beans because reasons. While in other countries they know like an hour after the polls close.
