ah yes, freedom is when i beg the sovereign of my state to enact an edict upon SuperMegaFastFood Corp. telling them that all fried tubers must be cooked in the fat of cattle alone. you have to be so genuinely removed from reality to find this thought cogent.

I'm trying to wrap my head around how they think the government is going to make McDonald's go back to using animal fats. Like didn't they (like most fast food corpos) switch to hydrogenated oils years ago on their own volition as a cost-cutting/profit-increasing measure? Do conservatives hate the free market now?

Comrade, I hate to break it to you. They delight in cognitive dissonance. They only believe in winning and domination and will retreat to irony and farce when cornered. While you expend energy trying to extrapolate their perspective from their words they have already achieved their goal and have moved on to complaining about how wokeism is ruining competitive flower arranging or something.

Conservatives loathe the free market. Media companies have decided to chase the rainbow dollar because it’s more profitable than not? Muh video games are woke, muh Netflix gay agenda, muh anti-male Gillette ad frothingfash

I do feel America as a society has very low standards in terms of tuber preparation though. I wish someone would do something about it.

I volunteer for the potato re-eduction job. I will round up the entire mid west and have them make potato salad right (no mayo, grainy mustard and red wine vinaigrette!) and those who survive can move on to fries.
