It's cutting part of the body of a kid that can't consent. Unless it's done for a valid and important medical reason, it's mutilation.
By that logic SRS is mutilation. And it just gives sceptics ammunition to accuse you of comparing it to FGM.
Gender confirmation surgery and circumcision should not be done except for valid medical reasons where the patient can freely give informed consent. There's no contradiction.
