If even one of you gets a post removed during one of these bit struggle sessions you failed the bit and should feel immense shame. Doing a bit successfully is Praxis.
Find things to struggle about that doesn't get out of hand. It's important to let off some steam now and again but do it in a way that doesn't harm your fellow comrades or add work to the mod team.
I'll start: Some beans are better than other beans. Like kidney beans are bad nasty icky beans but black beans are actually amazing.
Methamphetamine is good for two reasons:
At a therapeutic dose methamphetamine, aka Desoxyn, is less neurotoxic than other stimulant medications which are used to treat ADHD (and potentially other conditions but that's more speculative and off the beaten path for psychiatry) and this is important because it provides a much-needed alternative for situations where the more conventional stimulant meds are not tolerated or ineffective for any number of reasons. Honestly if it weren't for the stigma there's a good chance that on the basis of risk of harm to the patient and effectiveness, Desoxyn would be given preference over Adderall and lisdexamphetamine.
The discovery of methamphetamine and the widespread usage of it, aka Pervitin, critically undermined the Nazi war effort because they were able to utilise it to achieve early gains and it allowed for pushing Nazi soldiers to run on virtually no food, both of which looked good on paper especially in the early stages of the war but it was entirely unsustainable and so it made the top brass of the Nazi armed forces completely overestimate their abilities, thus leading them to overextend themselves and especially to overextend their soliders which led to a paper tiger effect where the Nazis appeared to be much more threatening but, when facing stiff resistance, they tended to crumble.
Hate Nazis? Support neurodivergent folks?
Love meth!
Destigmatize and legalize all drugs and then provide proper health care for people who use them and probably all drugs have some redeemable qualities.
Meth is really only a "bad" drug because of who primarily uses it and how it's made but both of those are pretty much intentional systemic issues rather than an issue with the drug itself
Methamphetamine is a really interesting test case because most people will be comfortable with opioids, despite the issues they cause due to addiction and abuse, because they also have therapeutic value but when you drop the idea that meth is in a similar boat - good therapeutic value despite serious issues with addiction and abuse - it tends to sit really uncomfortably with a lot of people.
ITT: tons of reactionaries with meth derangement syndrome.
