Tons of Democrats are shit, absolutely. But you also have stuff like marijuana legalization -- an enormous step in ending mass incarceration -- that's produced real results and is almost entirely a Democratic project at this point. Nothing like that exists in the GOP, and it's a significant factor in the Democratic Party.
