Unionists are getting antsy because of all the talk of a United Ireland.
Also general teenage disaffection and a recession making people mad, and that frustration gets channeled into the orange/green stuff. Maybe sexual frustration too, there's always some sexual frustration in these sorts of things.

Yeah I have to imagine the united ireland thing plays a big role, that whole topic really works some people up. With brexit now too it has to be more appealing than ever
