Fun video but there are so many things wrong that he couldn’t even cover them all.
Some of these just have baffling issues, I understand that you probably have separate animators specializing in first vs third person animation, but that's no excuse for a gun literally having different mechanical operations in first vs third.
Like the sniper rifle, in first person the weird top cover slides back on its own, then forward on its own, with no real rhyme or reason. But in third person it slides forward into the groove that the model specifically has to justify that happening, and then the operator slides the cover back on their own, which makes sense if it is spring loaded to slide forward.
Like this just seems like a fundamental issue of direction and coordination, there is no cohesive vision that the modeler and separate animators appear to be working from, and its bizarre that the third person animation has better care and attention put to it given that you arent looking directly at the gun like in first person. Embarrassing, just kind of a brown m&m issue for the whole quality of the game IMO.
Edit: Lmao just hit the part of the video where he literally makes this observation.
