The Ontario government has recently allowed the 18-49 demo to be vaccinated in certain postcodes that are "hotspots", saying they will be deploying "mobile units" to get it done.

There has been exactly zero information on what that looks like, when it'll be rolled out, where these units will be deployed, how you'll register, what supply is like. These things might as well be ice cream trucks. The public health units don't know, the pharmacies don't know. The people who are supposed to be administering these things are learning this info from the same gov press conferences that us schmoes are.

Two days ago, in the dead of night, the local health unit opened registration. I've put my name in. There is no email confirmation, just "write down this code and we'll be in touch." I've heard of people in higher risk groups who have gone through this same process months ago and still haven't been booked. This is with over a million doses sitting on fridges, and after government policy of delaying people's second dose for over four months, against all recommendations. We are currently at our worst spike in cases since this started.
