    $35,000 in sales minus about $750,000 in expenses.

    If you could choose between:

    • spending $100 million on this deli
    • spending some amount of money to get a building, some refrigerators, some ovens, some meat slicers, and paying for labor and ingredients

    which do you suppose would be more profitable?

    Unless they've got a secret industrial meth lab in the basement, I'm going to go out on a limb and say the efficient market has not priced this correctly.
