Reading the tweets so far- No the kid didn't have a gun. After the 1st cop shot himself in the foot (quite literally), there was a 2nd one who then clapped the kid. In a school's loo of all the places.
I’ve read a bunch of other stories and other twitter threads and it does seem like he may have had a gun. The long story was that his girlfriends stepdad had badly beat him recently and said he was going to do it again outside of school. So Ant brought a firearm for protection and the stepdad then called the cops and said he was going to start a school shooting. Which also yeah he may not have and the stepdad lied. Really no good info out there.
But yeah there’s really no clear story from the media except they say he had a gun that may or may not have discharged but that it didn’t hit anyone regardless. So fuck them.
