Yep when your population is half men half women we all the know the most effective and ruthlessly efficient way to have babies is for all the men to try to impregnate the same woman instead of like, pairing people up. It’s not like pregnancies are a one per year(ish) kind of thing.

Love this genre of Dumb Guy Argument that "the first 'most evil thing I can think of' is what bad people must do" even if thinking about it for more than a second will show it's stupid. Like my mom being afraid of people breaking into our house in the middle of the night when most burglaries happen during the day cause the point is to not get caught or confront anyone lol
The other cool part is when you point out how thinking about it for even a second produces a less stupid way of doing it, they'll say "well yeah YOU know that cause you're capable of logical thought, but some criminal isn't gonna think that" like people just decide "I'm gonna go do a crime" and not like, be driven to theft by desperation and their main goal is to get something valuable without getting caught or killed, not to Do A Crime
