    Becuase of the amount of energy required for computers to run the blockchain, crypto accounted for I think 10% of all energy consumption last year. NFTs are even worse.

      Well it's not 10% but yeah. Bitcoin was 51 megatons of CO2, which is like 0.14% of total idk?

      Ethereum uses less than Bitcoin, not more, btw, as it's a less valuable network overall therefore less incentive for mining.
