:this-is-fine: can we change timelines to the one where everything locked down for 8 weeks last year
If you seriously want to go to China, you can probably get a job teaching English there right now:

Man if I didn't get my job in the labour aristocracy, I would've done this. A friend of mine did it for a summer in one of the southern provinces and enjoyed it, and I figured it be nice to do some teaching again.
Fuck. You could always make yourself a mail-order bride/bridegroom/nonbinary partner.
The requirements in South Korea and Japan are for native speakers but who knows, you might be able to get a gig in less-famous parts of China. You could try emailing the recruiters you see there and find out what they say.
Before everyone panics, we're talking a few tens of cases most of them in unvaccinated people in a country where almost everything is open. There doesn't seem to be any increase in daily cases in Israel. There doesn't seem to be a huge reduction in the effectiveness of vaccines by the Indian strain: https://www.dw.com/en/vaccines-appear-effective-against-india-covid-variant/a-57344037
Lmao, it's almost like rich countries hoarding the vaccines will never work
Great news for the vaccine corporations tho, now we'll all need new shots each year
Just waiting to see mRNA vaccine countries get another wave while SinoVac countries are immune. Considering I'm in the former camp I'm not looking forward to it, but..just waiting
Duh. What population in that region is overwhelmingly unvaccinated and already is being ravaged by Covid-19 because a certain settler state is hoarding all medical supplies for themselves?
Was talking more about the fact that the strain is resistant to the vaccine, but you're absolutely right to refer to the vaccine being denied to the Palesinians. It's fucked.
