"Real Emo" only consists of the dc Emotional Hardcore scene and the late 90's Screamo scene. What is known by "Midwest Emo" is nothing but Alternative Rock with questionable real emo influence. When people try to argue that bands like My Chemical Romance are not real emo, while saying that Sunny Day Real Estate is, I can't help not to cringe because they are just as fake emo as My Chemical Romance (plus the pretentiousness). Real emo sounds ENERGETIC, POWERFUL and somewhat HATEFUL. Fake emo is weak, self pity and a failed attempt to direct energy and emotion into music. Some examples of REAL EMO are Pg 99, Rites of Spring, Cap n Jazz (the only real emo band from the midwest scene) and Loma Prieta. Some examples of FAKE EMO are American Football, My Chemical Romance and Mineral EMO BELONGS TO HARDCORE NOT TO INDIE, POP PUNK, ALT ROCK OR ANY OTHER MAINSTREAM GENRE

Yeah, but how does that relate to the screenshot? Plus idk? Too much gatekeeping I suppose. If the music is edgy and emotional and/or they wear lots of makeup, imo it =emo. Not emo myself I guess, never fit into particular clique. so. Idk go off King, I guess? Also looking into it and I guess the cure and joy division aren't considered emo even though I'm pretty sure they set the foundation in 'gothic' rock and later emo. Imo I'd put mcr, f.o.b., p.a.t.d., blue October, Depeche mode, rise against, papa roach, Linkin park, interpol(there's like one or two songs that fit the certain vibe), the bravery, 30 sec to Mars, Adema, bush, Chevelle, dead by sunrise, evanescence, creature feature, the airborne toxic event, silversun pickups, red jumpsuit apparatus, three days grace, the smashing pumpkins, and the violent femmes. It's very open to interpretation and dependent on the song that's picked but I'm sure plenty will agree that it fits the vibe just as much as others will disagree

Oh, and if you see a dork on the Internet assembling a black Templar cosplay while using kmfdm(saw this dork on YT shorts), PLEASE dunk on them. So much irony, columbine 2.0 frfr. Only thing they understand is aesthetics, no listening and understanding lyrics or what a band stands for.

              O, I am the BIG dumb columbo-donk

Edit: I think I thought they were calling out how he was speaking in the screenshot and I was wondering how that equated to an emo copy pasta. I was tired posting x2 mb

I wonder how "choccy" is translated. Just the regular word for chocolate, or some Arabic equivalent to infantilizing a word like that?

I wanted to print and use this as a headband, but I had to check it first with Google translate to be sure in case the OP was trying to pull a fast one on me

It said "I love choccy milk" instead of "death to America", my day is ruined

Real talk. I once told some of my friends that I enjoy listening to Arabic Nasheed (this one, specifically) and they FREAKED out. Like, they were convinced I had been indoctrinated into a terrorist group and I would be leaving to fight with them in a few years lol.

His text says "أحب حليب الشوكولاتة" the "أنا" part is redundant. Calligraphy takes liberties with letter shapes so usually they're hard to read to new learners.
