Warren led the 2020 Democratic primary early on. In her book, the Post said, she repeats a conversation with her husband, Bruce Mann, who said: “Babe, you could actually do this. You could be president.” Warren also writes about she imagined her inauguration.

Elizabeth Warren: Democratic party was reluctant to nominate a woman in 2020

So few people have the ability to make me literally shout swears at my glowing rectangle, but Warren is definitely one of them. This statement alone is negated by the fact that Harris is one pretzel away from the presidency. Also, nowhere in this article does Warren blame herself for her failures. As always with the PMC, it's everyone's fault but theirs. I've won elections and lost elections. When I won, it was because I worked my ass off and prepared like a motherfucker. When I lost, it was because I didn't prepare enough or the system made my victory almost impossible—I had basically bitten off way more than I could chew. Luck is also a factor of course.

On the page, Warren attributes some of the blame for her defeat to a failure to explain how she would pay for her ambitious progressive proposals, particularly on expanding healthcare.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CAN PAY FOR WHATEVER IT NEEDS BY PRINTING MONEY!!! DOZENS OF COUNTRIES WITH SMALLER ECONOMIES THAN THE USA HAVE SOMEHOW FOUND A WAY TO PAY FOR UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE FOR DECADES! WHY DO I KNOW THIS AND YOU DON'T? YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE A WONK! YOU'RE A FUCKING SENATOR AND A HARVARD PROFESSOR! JESUS CHRIST!

“Warren offers few hints on whether she might run again for president,” the paper said. “At 71, she is younger than Biden and could plausibly launch another campaign in 2024, particularly if he does not seek a second term.”

Not winning a single state in 2020 and coming in third in your home state is definitely a sign that you've connected with large numbers of voters. Once again, I think the PMC unconsciously hates capitalism and is actually seeking to destroy it. Warren is so amazingly infuriating that she would probably inspire multiple leftwing/rightwing guerrilla uprisings inside the USA if she somehow became president. I know it sounds ridiculous to say this, and sometimes I even find myself thinking that she isn't that bad compared with a monster like Biden, but her endless mixing of lies with half-truths, her magical way of bewitching wealthy liberals with absolute nonsense which they themselves will gladly defend to their deaths—it all just drives me nuts. (As you can see...)

I'm all for older people occupying any role they wish, but the USA's Gerontocracy makes the Soviets circa 1980 look like a bunch of Molotov wielding Maoist Zoomers

How to insist on mandatory retirement from leadership positions once you reach the age of 65 without sounding ageist?

we have minimum age requirements for lots of stuff, maximum age limits seems like common sense

but under liberal subjectivity it's too terrifying to confront inevitable physical decline so we let dementia patients be president

"For the good of everyone, I have to insist on mandatory retirement at 65."

Also, "ageism" against oligarchs and royalty is like "racism" against white people. Making someone collect a generous pension and spend time with their grandkids after decades of being in power is pretty different than firing a greeter at Wal-Mart making $9 an hour so you can replace them with someone making $7.25 an hour.

In the German Federal Constitutional Court judges are forced to retire at age 68, meanwhile our Supreme Court just a few years ago probably had a mean age of 68 lol

Feels like term limits - not even short ones, just like, “hey you can't be in Congress more than 20 years” - would be fine here. Doesn’t discriminate against the elderly but stops the same oligarchs from running everything for 50 years.

warren is just a narcissist, not a cunning politician. it took her almost a whole year to work out ways to blame everyone but herself and you're being very rude by picking them apart

Nah, that's basically what Warren is referring too. Basically "after Hillary lost in 2016 the party was was reluctant to nominate a woman in 2020". Still bullshit though.
