    At big lots today I was speaking Russian with my father and the boomer age lady in front of us in line asked "are you speaking Russian?" And I said yeah. Her husband (I assume) asked "You're Russian? I hate Putin!" to which I responded "uh, so do I?". Very confused, idk if that was his idea of a joke or if he was genuinely trying to trigger the libs or something

      I think it was just boomer brain in action. He just got shortwired and blurted out the first (possibly only) thing in his mind that connected to the word "Russia".
