we're still in every european country that we entered at the same time as the soviet union at the end of ww2. why are we occupying every EU state, and most African states, and many middle Eastern States, and half of Asia?(I know why, but it bothers me how there is no good reason that follows what they say, but they still support it.)
I don't think you can convince a lib that America occupies Europe or Japan the way they think the USSR occupied the Warsaw Pact states. South Korea is especially blatant.

yeah it's like Europe and Japan both have enormous military bases too, they're just not right in the middle of capitals like they are in Seoul
Add to that the fact that American embassies are insanely militarized compared to other embassies. They know they are an occupying force.
